Accept your quote and instruct the notary, from anywhere
Received our written quote? If it works for you, accept it here in two minutes: our office opens your file, sends you the checklist of documents and books the signing date. You will still sign the paper engagement letter in person (or through your attorney-in-fact) before the deed.
- It counts as the engagement: submitting the form has the same effect as signing the engagement letter (art. 9 D.L. 1/2012).
- You need the quote number, top right of the PDF we sent you. Quotes are valid for 30 days (60 for successions and company deeds).
- No online payment: taxes and fees are paid only before signing, by banker’s draft or bank transfer, as stated in the quote.
- You can change your mind: the engagement can be withdrawn in writing at any time; only the work already done remains due (general terms, point d).
Acceptance form
Fill in the details of the person instructing the notary. If there is more than one party, each one submits their own form.
Thank you, acceptance received!
🔒 You will receive a copy of your acceptance by email from our office. The notary is a public official bound by professional secrecy (art. 622 Italian Criminal Code).
From acceptance to the signing of the deed
We open your file
Our office records the acceptance, confirms by email and sends you the memo with the documents to provide (within 10 days) and the anti-money-laundering form to fill in with a few ticks.
Checks and draft
We run the title and registry searches, prepare the draft deed and send it to you, as a rule, 5 working days before the date fixed. Changes are requested in writing up to 3 working days before.
Signing at the office
On the day you bring your ID and tax code, pay taxes and fees by banker’s draft or cleared bank transfer, sign the paper engagement letter and the deed. Your copy will be in the client area. If you cannot travel, a power of attorney can be arranged.
What you are accepting
The quote
Every foreseeable item, itemised: taxes to the State, fees and expenses to the Office, for a matter of the agreed level of complexity. It may change only for elements not yet known (searches, certificates, declared value, special formalities): if so, we tell you before the deed.
If the deed is not completed
If you withdraw or the deed is not signed for reasons not attributable to the notary, a fee remains due for the work done: up to 50% of the quoted fee if the preparatory work was carried out, up to 80% if the draft deed was also prepared, plus out-of-pocket expenses. If the notary declines for legal reasons, only out-of-pocket expenses.
Taxes and penalties
Taxes are calculated on the rules in force and on the information you give us: a change in taxes is not a ground for withdrawal or fee reduction. Penalties for inaccurate declarations by the parties (value, reliefs, requirements) remain with those who made them.
Documents, timing and withdrawal
You undertake to provide the documents within 10 days and to make true statements (the notary is a public official). The engagement lasts until copies are delivered and post-deed formalities are done; you may withdraw in writing at any time. Complaints: marco.fiorentino@notariato.it, reply within 5 working days.
Before you press “Accept”
I cannot find the quote number
It is at the top right of the first page of the PDF (“Preventivo n. … del …”). If the quote came in the body of an email, write the date of the email and the type of deed: our office will find it.
We are two (or more) buyers: who fills in the form?
Each of you submits a form with your own details, or one of you submits it choosing “Also for another person” and writes the other party’s name in the notes; both will sign at the office.
Do I have to pay anything now?
No. No payment is taken on the website. Taxes, fees and expenses are paid before signing by banker’s draft payable to the notary or by cleared bank transfer; our office sends you the Office’s IBAN together with the date confirmation. Be wary of IBANs received from other addresses: call us to verify.
I live abroad and cannot come to Naples
You can sign through an attorney-in-fact with a notarised power of attorney (with apostille where required). We prepare the text in Italian and English; see our guide for buyers from abroad or book a video consultation.
